Tartu, with its population of 100 000 in an area of 153 km2 square kilometres, is the second largest city of Estonia. Tartu, lying 185 kilometres south of Tallinn, is also the centre of Southern Estonia. Tartu is almost 1000 years old city, but still young in spirit and curious about the new ideas.
